This is near completion. It's warm happy place. A villa near the sea with flowering trees. It still needs some details and final touches but I feel near satisfied with it. I can picture myself sitting on the rock near the water listening to the waves lap the shore. I can smell the sweet smell of flowering trees filling the air. I can imagine the warm salty breeze gently blowing across my face.

POST 12: Country House
POST 11: Time Warp
This is my take on an original...not sure by who or when I saw it. This is far from complete! But it's on it's way...I like the sadness on there faces...it leaves so many questions. What are they sad about? Where are they going? Where have they been?
POST 10: Spots
POST 9: Just Peachy
This one of my first attempts to show shadows and depth. Quickly learning how difficult it is to show any amount of dimension on a flat canvas. I felt like I was more successful showing the variations in the fruit than on the vase. I had fun using the random colors for the background.

POST 8: From ocean to beach...
Now that I was shown you what I think the ocean would look like... I painted the beach on a quiet day. Everyone has gone home for the day and the sun is setting. There is a little boy at home just realizing he forgot his bucket in sand (but it's ok because mom will take him back again tomorrow)
POST 7: Ocean nights
The ocean is one of my favorite things. I have never actually seen the ocean but I know when I do I iwll not want to come home. I love beaches, the water, and the exotic fish you find there. I was painting what I think it would look like if I was floating in the ocean on a clear night...
